And I’m not endorsing it just because they have the name Hype in it… actually, yeah, that’s a big reason (huuuuge reason) — BUT, I must confess, Jason & Erin Gurney’s hard work to create this new Digg meets Facebook meets Lowpost.net meets AWESOME is freaking sick.
I know I’ve mentioned it before, but since they’re launching the site to the public today I can’t wait to see how it’ll look with lots more users on board. The site is perfect for sports bloggers to get their stuff noticed by having people vote on it. Even if you’re not a blogger, surely as a sports fan you can find the best items, from a guy so drunk he’s destroying up his ride while asleep to seeing just how wonderful Billy Packer is. As well, you can find a myriad of different perspectives on current hot topics.
Not sold yet? You bums! There are Groups! Yeah! You can find and talk to other folks that may be in your area! And you can pick games too (though I really suck at it — I’m in a group specifically because of the hardcore suckage)
So go! I implore you, go, go now!
