What’s up with Rambo you ask? Nothing. But something is up, up here in Canada, specifically, Thanksgiving. I know you Americanites have Thanksgiving later, but ours is nicer and chillier, so nuh!

• You know that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry has a hot girlfriend (yes I know it’s every ep…) whose “thing” was being nude all the time in his apartment? And then Jerry realized some things done in the nude just aren’t sexy?…… that’s how I feel about this cute girl doing the spider drill with a short mini-shirt… just very… uggghhh… (Live Video)
• So Friday Night Lights Season 1 was as unique and great a newbie show as it ever was, and I watch way too much TV to be sure of this. But last Friday’s season 2 premiere has a new storyline which is throwing all that S1 verisimilitude (fuck yeah I took a documentary class!) off the bridge like it was a dead rapist per se. My fav TV writer/blogger/keyboard puncher superstar Alan Sepinwall is all over this sad twist of a near perfect show (What’s Alan Watching?)

Rambo is one of the all time great movies. Can still see him rising out of that pile of leaves. It hurts to see Rocky 14 or whatever is out there making Styllone look old.
